Looking back on 2025, we’re grateful for the connections, collaborations, and opportunities that made the year so meaningful. A standout moment was engaging with attendees at the 2025 OAA Annual Conference, where Kohn Partnership Architects took part in a guided tour and a panel discussion focused on the Zibi community. The tour of Voda at Zibi and Block 207 offered a behind-the-scenes look at the site’s innovative sustainable design, vibrant community spaces, and environmental features, giving attendees a firsthand understanding of the project’s vision and execution.
Building on this, Kohn Partnership Architects also hosted an in-depth panel discussion on the collaborative process behind Zibi, alongside Teeple Architects, Dream, and Zibi. The conversation explored design innovation, community engagement, and sustainability strategies that set a model for mixed-use urban development. The panel generated strong interest in co-living housing, reflecting growing curiosity around flexible, shared living models as part of more sustainable and inclusive communities.
The tour and panel reinforced the value of open dialogue and shared learning in advancing sustainable, community-focused urban development, and we look forward to carrying these conversations into 2026 and beyond.
