About the project
The Buckingham is the first phase of the anticipated Grand Central Mimico District. The development will have a warehouse-style podium with grade-related retail and office spaces topped with 3 distinct towers (North, Central and South Buckingham at 12, 26 and 37 storeys). The design of this project takes inspiration from Mimico’s industrial past featuring rich brick, black steel beams and large expanses of glass. With 751 units, the Buckingham offers unique amenity areas, including a social club with multiple lounges, movie theatre rooms, and a coworking space, which are located at the bases of the towers. These spaces are all double height and connect directly onto the project’s extensive landscaped roof terrace.
