About the project
Located at the Backyard Neighbourhood Condos in South Etobicoke, The Shoppes at Stonegate is a 2-storey commercial space that includes amenities for the local residents and surrounding neighbourhood including The Berry Road Food Co-op and the Stonegate Community Health Centre (SCHC). The Berry Road Food Co-op will occupy 8,000 SF of space on the main level and offer a non-profit grocery shop to the area. The Co-op will also be designed to house a cooking school and small café.
The Stonegate Community Health Centre will be on the second story of the retail pavilion, offering new and expanded facilities to a community service that has been in the neighbourhood since 1992. Several additional retail units are also in the new commercial development.
